MECHANISM OF ACTION

The Triple Pathway

While predecessors act on one or two receptors, Retatrutide co-activates three
distinct hormone pathways — delivering compounding synergistic effects
unmatched in current research models.

01

GLP-1

APPETITE & DIGESTION

Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor activation suppresses appetite and slows gastric emptying, reducing caloric intake in testing models.

02

GIP

INSULIN RESPONSE

Glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide activation potentiates insulin secretion and promotes lipid utilisation from adipose tissue.

03

Glycagon

ENERGY EXPENDITURE

Glucagon receptor co-agonism elevates basal metabolic rate and drives hepatic fat oxidation, compounding the dual-agonist effect.

Triple-Action Synergy

UNMATCHED IN CURRENT RESEARCH

No other compound in active clinical study simultaneously engages three distinct metabolic hormone receptors at therapeutic research concentrations.

INDUSTRY PROBLEM

Compromised Peptides

Ruin Research

Most vendors ship pre-reconstituted peptides with degraded purity, absent cold-chain, and substandard solvents. The result: compounds that invalidate your data before the experiment begins.

No Bacteriostatic Water

Many vendors use plain sterile water instead of 0.9% benzyl alcohol solution, causing rapid bacterial contamination and single-use shelf life.

Transit Agitation

Physical shaking during postal transit breaks delicate amino acid bonds in pre-reconstituted peptides before they reach the laboratory.

Cold-Chain Failure

Temperature fluctuations from absent cold-chain logistics accelerate degradation, delivering a measurably weakened compound.

Purity Compromise

Sub-95% purity introduces truncated synthesis sequences and oxidised variants that confound cellular assays and invalidate readouts.

STORAGE & HANDLING

Protocol for

Molecular Integrity

Proper storage is the final step in a quality-first supply
chain. Deviation from these protocols will degrade the
compound and invalidate your experimental data.

Lyophilised Vials (Powder)

Below −18°C

Strictly protected from direct light at all times.

Reconstituted Solution (Liquid)

2–8°C

Refrigerate immediately after reconstitution.

Freeze-Thaw Cycles

Avoid entirely

Repeated cycling irreparably damages peptide structure.

STORAGE & HANDLING

Step-by-Step Instructions

For researchers using 20mg, 30mg, or 40mg Retatrutide lyophilized powder vials and provided bacteriostatic water.

STEP 1 of 7

Bring vials to room temperature

Take the Retatrutide peptide vial and bacteriostatic water vial out of the fridge 10–15 minutes before use. Allow them to reach room temperature.

STEP 2 of 7

Sanitize the vials

Pop off the protective plastic caps. Wipe the rubber stoppers of both vials with a fresh alcohol swab. Allow them to air dry. Do not blow on them.

STEP 3 of 7

Extract bacteriostatic water

Uncap a sterile mixing syringe. Pull back the plunger to draw air equal to the volume of bacteriostatic water you need. Inject the air into the vial, then invert the vial and slowly draw out the exact volume of water required.

STEP 4 of 7

Reconstitute the peptide

Pierce the centre of the lyophilized peptide vial. Do not spray the water directly onto the powder. Slowly angle the needle so the bacteriostatic water drips down the inside glass wall.

STEP 5 of 7

Dissolve and inspect

Once all water is added, remove the syringe. Gently swirl or roll the vial between your fingers until the powder is completely dissolved. Never shake the vial.

STEP 6 of 7

Draw the precise dose

Using a new, sterile insulin syringe, pull back the plunger to draw air equal to your required dose. Inject the air into the vial, invert, and slowly pull back to your required unit mark. Gently tap the syringe to clear any air bubbles and push them back into the vial.

STEP 7 of 7

Dispense and refrigerate

Withdraw the needle and administer the dose to your test medium. Press the plunger fully and hold for 3–5 seconds. Dispose of the syringe in a sharps container immediately. Return the reconstituted peptide vial to the refrigerator (2–8°C) upright.

For researchers using 20mg, 30mg, or 40mg pre-filled Retatrutide pens.

STEP 1 of 7

Bring the pen to room temperature

Take the pen out of the fridge 10–15 minutes before use. Cold solution is thicker and dispenses less accurately. Never microwave, warm in hot water, or shake the pen.

STEP 2 of 7

Inspect the cartridge

Hold the pen up to the light. The reconstituted Retatrutide should be clear and colourless with no visible particles or cloudiness. If it looks off, stop and contact us.(Note: in the source image this sentence reads “Hold the pen urt of the light.” The word is garbled, so I wrote “up to”.)

STEP 3 of 7

Attach a fresh needle

Use a new 31G 6mm needle every time. Wipe the rubber septum with an alcohol swab, then screw on a new needle. Reused needles become blunt, introduce contamination, and cause dose loss.

STEP 4 of 7

Prime the needle (Normally Redundant)

Our pens are fully primed, with all air bubbles removed before shipping. Therefore, this step should not be needed.Note box in the image – “If you wish to confirm:” Dial 2 units, point the needle upwards, and press the plunger until a droplet appears at the tip. If no droplet appears, contact us.

STEP 5 of 7

Dial the dose in clicks

Refer to your pen and clicks-per-mg card. Each click equals a fixed volume, and the mg-per-click depends on the vial strength and fill volume. How many clicks equate to a 1mg dose will be printed directly on the pen. Use this alongside the calibrated card included in your box.

STEP 6 of 7

Dispense and hold

Press the plunger fully and hold it in place for 6–10 seconds so the full dialled volume is delivered, rather than being left inside the needle.

STEP 7 of 7

Remove the needle and refrigerate

Never store the pen with a needle attached. Unscrew and dispose of the needle in a designated sharps bin. Storing the pen without a needle prevents solution leaks and stops air from entering the cartridge. Return the pen to 2–8°C.
